The building has a rich history dating back to 1941, serving as home to a motor freight company and the Perfect Steel Rule Die Corp. before becoming our restaurant in June 2013.

Since opening its doors in 2004, our Harlem location has been serving up bold, slow-smoked BBQ and a lively atmosphere that reflects the energy of the surrounding community. Located in the heart of downtown Rochester, Dinosaur BBQ Rochester is situated in the former Lehigh Valley Railroad Station, a picturesque location overlooking the Genesee River and situated near the Blue Cross Arena.
Since opening in 1998, it has been the second location of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, and it offers offsite catering, pick-up, delivery, and drop-off with servers. In addition, we have a private upstairs event space that can accommodate 40-50 people with a full bar.
