Dinosaur Newark inhabits a building constructed in 1890 which was originally Roehlich & Kohler Spirits & Fine Wines.
Over the years, it has housed many types of businesses including a chandelier factory, a habadashery, a penny arcade and was a
boxing club where Rubin “Hurricane” Carter trained. Today the original architectural features remain intact
on the exterior and the restaurant showcases original tin ceilings and mosaic tile floors in the spirit of an old-timey Tap Room.
